Dan Flinter , Chairman
Dan is the former CEO of Enterprise Ireland and in that capacity gained extensive experience in the business development of many high-tech companies. He directed EI’s strategy to expand the size and scope of the VC industry in Ireland over the past eight years and enlarged the EI office network to more than thirty countries across the world. He is a non executive director of Project Management Holdings and of the Digital Hub Development Agency, a public private partnership which is focused on the development of the digital media sector in Ireland. He is also a member of a number of advisory boards and holds a masters degree in economics from University College Dublin.
Ray Bulger, Co-founder and CEO
Ray was Managing Director of Silicon and Software Systems (S3) for five years. He was responsible for European and Asian operations. Prior to that he was director of marketing and sales and helped diversify the company's international customer base. He joined S3 in 1987 and set up several areas of the company's silicon technology foundation. Previously he spent six years working in the US in Silicon Valley designing IBM mainframes and supercomputers. He holds honors engineering and maths degrees from Trinity College Dublin.
Mark O'Donovan, Co-founder and Non-executive Director
Mark is a Director in Goodbody Corporate Finance. Prior to this he was a founder director of Munich-based technology company, Partners in Europe, which he helped to build from zero to sales of $64 million. He previously worked with Siemens in Munich where he headed the company's strategic account management team. He is an engineering graduate of Trinity College Dublin and holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Limerick.
Dr Jim Mountjoy, Non-executive Director
Jim is a well-known and respected figure in the international software industry. Best known for founding Irish software firm Euristix, he was also a co-founder of Baltimore Technologies. As an innovative supplier of advanced network management solutions, Euristix, under Jim’s leadership, became a market leader with a customer list including such blue chip companies as Cisco, Tellabs, Motorola, Alcatel, IBM and HP. Jim now brings his experience to a number of non-executive roles with high-tech companies.
Rory Hynes, Non-executive Director
Rory is an Investment Executive with Enterprise Equity Venture Capital Group. He has wide experience in relation to the funding and development of technology companies. Prior to joining Enterprise Equity he was with Údarás na Gaeltachta where he contributed to the development of many indigenous companies as well as negotiating successful inward investment projects from North America, Europe and the Far East. In his earlier career he was a senior Civil Servant and holds awards in Public Administration from UCD and the Institute of Public Administration.
